Jack Rath

Jack Rath is the Global Security Officer at the Montreal Institute for Global Security. His research examines emerging technology threats, the geopolitical dynamics of AI development, and policy frameworks to protect information ecosystems and democratic resilience.

He holds a dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Advanced Studies in Politics, International Relations, and Political Economy from the University of Sydney, and is currently completing a Master in International Security at Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. Jack previously served as a Senior Policy Officer in the Australian Government, where he worked to respond to international crises. He speaks English and French at a professional level.
