Ryan Yuen is the Operations Analyst at the Montreal Institute for Global Security. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations from the University of Calgary and is currently completing his Master’s of Arts in Political Science, specializing in International Relations, at McGill University. Ryan’s research interests are human rights, diplomacy, and international law – his current Master’s research thesis is on the practical impacts of state recognition. Ryan has previously worked in the Canadian government at Global Affairs and Public Safety, as well as at the University of Calgary and McGill University. He speaks English, French, Cantonese and Mandarin.
