MIGS Appoints Jonathan Berkshire Miller as Senior Fellow – Indo-Pacific

The Montreal Institute for Global Security (MIGS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Berkshire Miller as Senior Fellow – Indo-Pacific.

An internationally recognized expert in security, defence, and geoeconomics, Jonathan brings nearly two decades of experience advising governments, multinational corporations, and international organizations on geopolitical risk and strategic decision-making. He is co-founder and Principal of Pendulum Geopolitical Advisory in Ottawa and also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, with additional affiliations at the Japan Institute of International Affairs and the Asian Forum Japan.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has worked across both the public and private sectors, including with the Canadian federal government on Asia-related economic and security issues. A respected voice in global affairs, he is a frequent contributor to leading publications and a regular commentator in international media such as the Financial Times, the New York Times, CNN, Foreign Affairs, the Wall Street Journal and many others.

At MIGS, Jonathan will contribute his deep expertise on the Indo-Pacific region, strengthening the Institute’s work on geopolitical foresight, security policy, and strategic analysis in one of the world’s most dynamic and consequential regions.
