Senior Fellow – Humanitarian Affairs
Senior Fellow Anne Delorme specializes in peace diplomacy, the protection of civilians, and global security. With over three decades of experience in humanitarian action and international cooperation, she has worked extensively on civilian harm reduction, disarmament, gendered impacts of conflict, and the erosion of global norms that safeguard human dignity.
Anne has published and spoken widely on civilian protection, humanitarian access, and Canada’s role in global peace and security. Her commentary has appeared in national media and policy fora, and she is a frequent speaker on disarmament, peacebuilding, and the future of international humanitarian law.
Her career includes senior leadership roles at UNDP and in Canadian institutions, including as Executive Director of Humanity & Inclusion Canada, where she advanced international efforts to reduce harm from explosive weapons and strengthen compliance with IHL. She is currently CEO of the Y des femmes de Montréal, where she leads initiatives on gender equality, violence prevention, and inclusive feminist governance. Anne is also Vice‑Chair of Community Foundations of Canada, contributing to national conversations on social cohesion and democratic resilience. She holds an MBA from McGill University and works in English, French, and Spanish.
