Monique Goffinet professional leadership spans the critical intersection of national security heritage and veteran advocacy. Monique is the Executive Director of the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum in Ottawa. This National Historic Site was formerly the Central Emergency Government Headquarters, a top-secret facility that once operated under the code name Project Emergency Army Signals Establishment.
Monique has also served as CEO of Commissionaires – South Saskatchewan Division and CEO of the Saskatchewan Provincial Capital Commission. Previously, she served as Director of Government House Saskatchewan. She also held positions at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of BC and the Legislative Assembly of BC. As a former broadcaster, Monique worked in television, radio and print.

Passionate about serving veterans, Monique is a member of the Ottawa Veterans Task Force, a Governor with Commissionaires, serves the Royal Regina Rifles as their Trust Fund Vice-Chair, and a member of RUSI and the Last Post Fund.
Monique Goffinet holds a master’s degree in leadership from Royal Roads University. As the proud spouse of an RCMP Officer, Monique has lived across multiple provinces.
