Thelma Caye is a Franco-Colombian student completing her final semester at McGill University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies, Political Science and Communication Studies. She also completed an academic exchange at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and intends to pursue graduate studies in International Relations and Diplomacy, with a concentration on international affairs and human right. Her research and professional interests lie at the intersection of humanitarian affairs, global governance, and gendered dimensions of international security and human rights. She is particularly engaged with Latin American political movements and the evolving role of diplomacy in promoting global equity and sustainable development.
Thelma has gained experience in non-profit, private, and student-led organizations, including as a Fundraising Development Intern at Angkor Hospital for Children in Cambodia, Marketing Intern at Lectra, and Social Media Manager at Solicolque. She has also held leadership roles within WIIS McGill and UNICEF McGill, contributing to initiatives that promote youth engagement and international development.
She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
